IronLive Equipment Show Draws Global Audience

The first IronLive Equipment Show, broadcast over the internet on December 15, drew customers and other viewers from across North America and the world. The live preview of IronDirect’s construction equipment lineup was livestreamed from the Customer Experience Center in Asheville, North Carolina. Archived video of the event is available here.

“A snappy 20 minutes of good info and visuals,” tweeted construction equipment journalist Mike Anderson (@MikeOnMachines). “Congrats to @IronDirect for this morning’s live-stream equipment show.” Anderson, former equipment editor for Engineering News-Record (ENR), watched the event from London, Ontario. His assessment was retweeted by Tudor Van Hampton (@DoctorDiesel), managing editor of ENR.

The livestream event clocked in at just over 20 minutes of walk, talk, drive, and stick time with IronDirect’s lineup of excavators, dozers, compactors, tracked utility vehicles, wheel loaders, scrapers, and machine attachments. Emceed by IronDirect Vice President Tom Hlawek, the show provided information on dozens of equipment models and thousands of attachments available for sale on It was broadcast from the outdoor product demonstration arena at the 100-acre Customer Experience Center.

“IronLive events will be a great tool for customers to experience our products no matter where they are,” said IronDirect President Tim Frank. “In fact, our internet viewers get information and camera views not available to those sitting in the grandstand in Asheville. Technology makes even a 48-ton excavator or a 500-horsepower scraper tractor accessible anywhere in real time.”

As the machines were introduced and drove about the arena, viewers got varying camera views, including ground level, overhead (via drone), in-cab, and even onboard from a camera attached to the machine. Hlawek’s presentation delivered a wide array of information, including machine specs, competitive comparisons, IronDirect’s Service Your Way warranty program, the 48-hour parts guarantee, the new IronDirect Product Pavilion, and much more.

The next IronLive Equipment Show is tentatively scheduled for January 19. Customers can view and test drive equipment five days a week at the Customer Experience Center. Visitors will get $1,000 off their first IronDirect purchase, and IronDirect will cover travel costs. To arrange a visit, follow this link or contact Justin Pike at 828-337-9912.
